Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions

DalterFood Group monitors greenhouse gas emissions, fully aware of their impact on the climate. Specifically:

  • SCOPE 1: direct emissions, meaning those originating from sources owned or controlled by the company, such as fuel used for heating and operational vehicles.
  • SCOPE 2: indirect emissions generated by the energy purchased and consumed by the company. These are calculated according to international standards (GRI) using both the Location-based and Market-based methods.

Scope 3 emissions

DalterFood acknowledges the importance of expanding the calculation of its carbon footprint to include upstream and downstream supply chain activities, in order to understand all negative environmental impacts and reduce them.

For this reason, since 2022 we have been measuring Scope 3 emissions, which are those related to the Group and its business relationships. In 2024, these emissions amounted to 249,151 tonnes of CO₂, marking a 6% reduction compared to 2023.
