DalterFood Group inaugurates its new plant in Parma for the cutting and packaging of hard cheeses

DalterFood Group continues to grow and invest in the Emilia region (Italy). Today, 2 February, a new plant dedicated to the cutting and packaging of hard cheeses has become operational in Parma, on Via Emilio Lepido. This new facility strengthens the Group’s industrial presence and significantly increases its production capacity, enhancing the level of service provided to customers in both domestic and international markets.

The opening comes at a particularly positive moment for the company: 2025 closed with a record turnover of €200 million, confirming the solidity of the Group’s industrial model.

A facility designed to meet growing demand

Acquired in 2022, the facility underwent a complete renovation in 2025, supported by a €1 million investment that enabled the installation of new packaging lines and the modernization of production equipment and spaces.

The first production runs have already started, and additional lines will progressively become operational in the coming months. This new plant will allow the Group to better meet the growing demand for Italian cheeses, particularly Parmigiano Reggiano.

Technology, quality and sustainability

The new plant is equipped with modern technologies for cheese packaging and advanced quality‑control systems, essential to ensuring the high production standards required by the market.

The renovation was carried out with a particular focus on sustainability: energy‑efficiency improvements, solutions to reduce environmental impact, and responsible choices throughout the supply chain reflect the Group’s commitment to increasingly sustainable production models.

An investment focused on the future

With this new opening in Parma, DalterFood Group adds a second production site alongside its historic plant in Sant’Ilario d’Enza. This expansion strengthens the Group’s overall capacity, enhances operational flexibility, and enables an even more effective response to the growing demand for Italian cheeses in both Italy and international markets. This milestone marks an important step in the Group’s growth journey.
