Established in 1939 as a small cooperative dairy farm in Carpineti, in the province of Reggio Emilia, this cheese factory started working with the Group in 2009. It is located in the heart of the Reggio Emilia Apennines at an altitude of about 600 m above sea level, and is therefore classified as a mountain cheese factory. Its production capacity has reached 150 wheels of cheese a day and it is now the largest mountain cheese factory in the entire district.
