In 2019, Sergio takes over the family business as a young entrepreneur.
Improvements are immediately introduced to promote animal welfare, such as the construction of a replacement barn, a new milking system and fans to alleviate the summer heat.
170 head of cattle and fodder land are managed and looked after exclusively by Sergio and Fosco.
Sergio says: “I do this job with passion, it gives me great satisfaction, especially milking. It takes grit and sacrifice, it’s a job that not everyone wants to do”.
Future projects concern animal welfare, which plays a fundamental role on the farm: the construction of a loose housing barn to give the animals more comfort and freedom has the priority.
