Azienda Agricola Pellicciari Giuseppe di Paolo e Prospero
Azienda Agricoal Pellicciari in Carpineti, in the heart of the Reggio Emilia Apennines, was established in 1969 when Giuseppe Prospero bought a farm property and, in 1981, built the barn.
Today it is run by his sons, Prospero and Paolo, and is dedicated to the production of mountain milk, with 60 Friesian and Pezzata Rossa cows, and fodder to feed the animals. The pezzata rossa milk is then used by the Cigarello dairy to produce a high quality Parmigiano.
